Cost, Dates & Location

The Compass Program will be held at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia on June 7-9, 2012. The Emory Conference Center and its hotel rooms feature impressive architectural designs and interior styles inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. Only 30 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport--with direct flights to most major airports worldwide--the Conference Center is located on a 26-acre forest preserve on the Emory University campus, within walking distance of midtown Atlanta attractions, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and many other sites of leisure and professional interest. The tuition for the Compass Program is $995. The tuition includes:

  • Over 25 hours of intensive, interprofessional learning:
    • One-on-one career planning with Compass instructor
    • Peer coaching
    • Class discussions
    • Small-group projects
    • Case studies
    • Problem-solving exercises
    • Self-directed coursework
    • Presentations by Compass scholars
  • Over 150 pages of program materials
  • On-site hotel accommodations on June 6-8, 2012
  • Social and interprofessional networking opportunities
  • Breakfast and lunch on June 7-9, 2012, and dinner on June 7-8
Compass tuition includes lodging and all meals during the program, so the only other expense for which you are responsible is transportation.
