"I am very thankful to have had this time to be with my peers. I enjoyed all the insight from others who are in the same line of work that I am. Very refreshing to learn what I am doing right and what I need to improve." Kathy Gipson, B.S.D.H.,
Clinical Lecturer, Indiana University South Bend

Gain new perspectives

IAHE programs provide opportunities to work with skilled online instructors so you will experience the best practices for distance learning while absorbing the curriculum. Find out insider tips and lessons from your new network. Learn about job opportunities and trends. Make friendships that will last throughout your professional career and beyond.

Meet new and experienced educators

Don't worry—you'll be among peers. The IAHE attracts new educators eager for the latest teaching methods and strategies to help their students succeed, as well as mid-career professors who want to get retooled for a new generation of learners.

Become part of the AAL nexus of leading and learning™

Participation in the IAHE introduces you to a diverse community of learners. You will find a wide variety of specialties and interests among your fellow IAHE participants, as well as a range of career plans and ambitions. Participants in the IAHE tend to be lifelong learners—people who want to continue to grow personally and professionally. Share in the enthusiasm of leading and learning and engage new colleagues.

Join ADEA's Society of Teaching and Learning

The IAHE is an excellent pathway to the Society of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), a community of predoctoral, allied, and advanced dental educators, which seeks enrichment and networking opportunities to continue their professional development. Members of SoTL contribute to the professional development and mentoring of other faculty as they progress through their academic careers. Dental faculty can benefit through active membership in the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and in conjunction with ADEA's faculty development workshops at the Annual Session & Exposition.
