Synopsis The Educational Research Methods (ERM) course introduces participants to strategies for designing studies that explore curriculum, teaching, and learning issues. ERM consists of nine 2-hour workshops that guide participants from initial identification of research questions and hypothesis formulation to study design and then data analysis covering both quantitative and qualitative methods. The ERM course also helps participants work through obstacles that are typically encountered when conducting educational research. |

Research Project Participants will plan an educational research project during the course. ERM participants receive individualized consultation and assistance from AAL staff outside of the scheduled workshops. |
