Principles of Adult Learning |

Duration 4 hours (half-day) Synopsis Workshop participants begin the program by completing the PALS Inventory (Principles of Adult Learning) to assess their preferred style of interacting with students. Participants then review the characteristics of adult learning theory (ALT) and identify how ALT can be incorporated into their teaching responsibilities. Participants also discuss the "cop to coach" continuum of teacher roles followed by a self-assessment of the roles they most typically assume during interactions with students. |
