Course Description​​

Academic Leaders are freedom dreamers—people who believe that the future can and will be better. This course integrates the tools of cultural competence into a resilient fabric, emphasizing our responsibility to sustain healing and wholeness for ourselves and our communities. We will explore how to be productively disruptive, manage critics and cynics, and ultimately become advocates for justice. We’ll delve into practical strategies for fostering inclusive environments, engaging in courageous conversations, and implementing equitable practices in our schools. By the end of the course, academic leaders will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to lead transformational change and create a more just and inclusive educational community.
