Effective faculty retention starts before new hires step into their classrooms. This course equips school administrators with strategies to integrate meaningful support into the onboarding process, ensuring alignment with your school’s mission and values. Participants will learn to modify traditional onboarding practices, emphasizing community building, clear training, and accountability for adopting school-wide or division-specific pedagogies. The course covers creating an inclusive environment where new hires can thrive, setting clear expectations for pedagogical implementation, and developing a coaching plan to support ongoing growth. By the end, you'll have actionable strategies for grounding new teachers in your school’s culture and educational approach effectively.
