Personalized-Learning: A Primer for Academic Leaders
Dates Offered: November 3 - November 7
Course Description
Personalized learning is a learner-driven, identity-centering pedagogy. This course is a primer in personalized learning. It is designed for Academic Leaders who are curious about this pedagogical approach or those considering bringing it into a school community. Participants will leave with an understanding of personalized learning and a tool to assess where teachers are located on the teacher- to learner-driven continuum. Rather than viewing Generative AI as a separate initiative, we’ll consider how school leaders can explore Generative AI’s potential to enhance and accelerate existing personalized learning efforts as part of achieving educational priorities.
Course Objectives
Evaluate whether personalized learning is an appropriate pedagogy for your school.
Consider the implications of Generative AI for implementing personalized learning.
