Live programming is included for Academic Leaders at all member schools
Our Wednesday webinars are half-hour opportunities for members to learn from experienced colleagues or practitioners in the field about specific topics of interest to Academic Leaders. There’s always Q&A time included in webinars. Webinars will be recorded and available to members to watch on-demand. |
Hour-long member meetups discuss a current topic of practice with a group of peers. Meetups begin with a presentation from an Academic Leader, followed by breakout sessions grouped by role or interest. We conclude by gathering again to share resources and insights. Only the original presentation is recorded for on-demand viewing. |
Live programming is an Association benefit. All Academic Leaders at your school can participate at no cost.Log into the Member Portal to register and view past recordings!

Webinar: Expanding Your Professional Network
Wednesday, January 17, 2024, 12noon-12:30pm ET
In this webinar, we're joined by Susanna Jones, retired head of school, to discuss the importance of robust professional networks for Academic Leaders. Having a strong support network is important for individuals in these roles; their jobs are demanding and challenging. Colleagues at your school understand the context for the challenges you face. At the same time, expanding your professional network beyond just colleagues at your own school provides opportunities to get new ideas and objective perspectives with peers who perform in roles similar to yours. Both matter!
