Course Description
This course empowers Academic Leaders to design and plan to implement effective curriculum mapping strategies tailored to their schools. The course will help leaders include and honor their existing curriculum frameworks such as Understanding by Design (UbD), during the process. Participants will explore the key elements of a curriculum map, including performance tasks, course competencies, and aligning the maps with the school’s portrait of a graduate. The course also addresses how to include interdisciplinary goals and social-emotional learning (SEL) into comprehensive content maps. Additionally, the course highlights how AI tools can enhance and streamline the mapping process, ensuring a more efficient and effective implementation.
