Your Peers Are Here With You

Academic Leaders do their best work when they can connect with colleagues across schools to share goals, challenges, and successes.

Cohorts are back! This popular member benefit offers Academic Leaders the chance to gather for informal conversations on topics they have in common with peers in similar roles in schools across the country.

Each cohort group is led by a facilitator and gathers for several stand-alone 50-minute live video meetings. Participants can join for one conversation or for all of them.

Each cohort conversation focuses on growing in a competency-based approach to the challenges of academic leadership.Every meeting has a topic and a shared resource (shared via our members-only portal) to discuss that is suggested or selected by participants during a prior meeting. Topics are tied to the issues central to participants’ roles and to the cycle of the school year. Often, after the initial conversation, the members pivot to respond to a problem of practice brought by a member seeking inputs from the group.

To ensure an open and free-flowing conversation, cohort sessions will not be recorded or shared.
